There's a difference in meaning, of course. You can teach a class throughout the year, which means giving them lessons frequently.
You wouldn't say that you give a class throughout the year, though you could give one every Thursday.
"Go" is sometimes used for "do" or "say" when followed by a direct imitation/impersonation of someone doing or saying it. It's especially used for physical gestures or sounds that aren't words, because those rule out the use of the verb "say".
You can both deliver and give a class in British English, but both words would be pretentious (to mean to spend time with a class trying to teach it), and best avoided rein my view. Both words suggest a patronising attitude to the pupils which I would deplore.

Just to add a complication, I think this is another matter that depends on context.
